Selbe Situation wie überall anders auch ... mit dem kleinen Unterschied, daß wir manchmal ein klein bisschen schaukeln, Fische im Taumel gegen unseren Rumpf springen, alle hier italienisch sprechen und nichts ausverkauft ist im Supermarkt.
Masken- und Handschuhpflicht, limitierter Zugang in Geschäfte, nicht mehr als 200m von daheim weg ... hört sich schlimmer an, als es ist.
Hohe Strafen bei Mißachtung, alles klar, aber es wird eben italienisch gemütlich und freundlich gehandhabt.
Masken und Handschuhe sind hier keine Mangelware, genau so wenig wie Klopapier und Pasta ... alles in Hülle, Fülle und in Variationen erhältlich. Roccella selber ist ein Dorf, dh ob ich an der Apotheke drinnen anstehe oder jetzt eben außerhalb am Gehsteig, ebenfalls egal ... ein einziges Mal mußten wir vor dem Supermarkt auf den Einlaß warten - aber ok, das war an einem Samstag kurz vor Mittag ... selber schuld 😆.
In der Marina können und dürfen wir überall herumspazieren, mit Freunden plaudern, auch ein Glaserl trinken ... solange es bei 4 Personen bleibt ... an der Rückseite der Marina gibt es auch ein (sprichwörtliches) Loch im Zaun, dort können wir zum Strand gehen, da ist weit und breit nichts und niemand. Die kontrollierenden Carabinieri und Coast Guard grüßen sehr freundlich, wenn wir uns beim "Kontrollgang" begegnen.
Letzte Woche waren wir mit dem Rad in der Stadt um ein paar Erledigungen zu machen ... Cafémöbel wurden geputzt, Bäume gestutzt, Hardware Geschäfte verkaufen auch Lebensmittel (damit sie offen haben können), die Italiener bei 22 Grad immer noch mit Daunenjacke unterwegs ... eigentlich alles ganz normal, man könnte glauben, das jährliche Sommererwachen nach der Winterpause ... bis 3. Mai ist die Ausgangssperre in Italien, dann soll alles öffnen ...
Somit... wird der 4. Mai (May the Force) hoffentlich mit uns sein 😇

Same situation like every where ... with the little difference that our house sometimes moves a bit, fish are swimming against the hull, everybody speaks italian and that everything is available at the supermarket.
Masks and gloves are mandatory, limited access into a shop, not moving away more than 200m from your home ... its not as bad as it sounds.
Or let's say - the restrictions are a fact and executed but in a casual way.
Everything is available, no shortage on toilet paper or pasta ... Roccella itself is actually a village ... so there are nowhere a lot of people. Queuing up at the pharmacy ... inside or now outside along the pavement ... no problem. Only once we had to wait to be granted access into the supermarket ... but that was our fault ... it was Saturday just before noon 😆.
Within the Marina we can walk around where ever we want, chat with friends and even meet for a beer ... 4 people is absolutely tolerated. And on the back of the Marina there is the omnipresent hole in the fence. It gives us access to the vast beach area. For miles nothing, only sand. And when the Carabinieri or the Coast Guard are on patrol and you walk past them, they are very friendly and greet us.
Last week we went to town with the bikes. Café awnings were cleaned, trees nicely cut, hardware stores also sell food so they can be open, Italiens still in winter jackets despite the 22°C (as usual) ... it all seemed a regular spring awakening after hypernation ... curfew is in place until May 3rd ... then everything should be open again, except probably schools.
So ... May the Force/Fourth be with us ...😇
